Our current ministry at Child Serve consists of once per month helping to lead games and activities for the residents at the facility. These children love every bit of attention and time. There are no special requirements other than a flu shot and a love for God.
One of the ways that we like to be involved in our community is to support the Partnership. We have hosted events to raise funds, give on a monthly basis, serve, and donate supplies on a regular basis. This is a practical way to "Be Christ in Community."
As a Military Friendly Church, we strive to be aware of the needs of military families, engaged in the local base, and offering a friendly hand of support any way possible. Currently we assist serving meals at special events, lead worship at chapel services, and participate with members in a Alpha Course study on base.
"Being Christ in Community" means we look for wars to serve everywhere possible. One of our teams works to stay connected and serve the needs of our community through the Habitat project. If you are interested, we plan events at least every quarter warm or cold, rain or shine.
